The Club was founded in 1997 by a mom who moved to town and wanted something for her daughter to do without having to run into the nearest big city.  The studio was first located in the local Aberdeen Composite School, using the gyms as the studios for lessons.  Since then, it has moved into the Aberdeen Recreational Complex and Event Centre, where it has its own high quality dance studio, including a sprung floor and performance surface.   We are also proud to add that we have second generation dancers within our club and past dancers who volunteer and even a current board member was a previous Dance Aberdeen Dancer.
